Dragonball Z And adidas Set To Release Seven Shoe Collaboration In 2018

Dragon Ball Z and adidas are releasing a collaboration in Fall 2018. Seven shoes are said to be part of this collection, which reflects the seven mythical Dragon Balls from the fictional cartoon. Dragon Ball Z has always been a cult classic in certain sectors of street subcultures, which finally came together in the form of a “Baby Milo” BAPE collection this year. Now it seems that the popular anime series is teaming up with an even bigger name in adidas for a full-scale collaborative collection set to touch down in 2018. It is being reported that the capsule will debut in Fall of 2018, but the silhouettes involved have not yet been announced. Yeezy Mafia has confirmed that there will be seven sneakers involved to coincide with the seven Dragon Balls famously featured in the series. It is safe to assume that this collection will come with special packaging or some sort of further nod to the Dragonball Z franchise as we have seen the Brand with the Three Stripes do with other special releases in the past. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates regarding specific release information and which adidas sneakers are set to be involved.

Dragon Ball Z protagonist Goku once said on the popular ’90s anime TV series, “Power comes in response to a need, not a desire. You have to create that need.” Well, it looks like Adidas might want to create that need: It’s being rumored that the athletic shoe and apparel company will hook up with Dragon Ball Z for a collab collection sometime next year.
As noted by HYPEBEAST, exclusive Dragon Ball Z capsules from clothing concerns like Dickies and BAPE have hit the streets in recent months, and, according to Yeezy Mafia, an Adidas Originals x Dragon Ball Z collaboration is coming in fall 2018. Maybe soon you’ll be able to throw on some sick Dragon Ball three-stripes while playing Xenoverse 2.
