The Invincible x adidas Futurecraft 4D Highlights the Potential of Customized Soles

Taiwan retailer Invincible is set to link with adidas for a
version of the sportswear brand’s groundbreaking Futurecraft
4D sneaker. The shoe sports a pale, pastel-hued Primeknit woven upper,
riding atop a 3D-printed sole unit. The customizable sole, which was developed
by California tech firm Carbon, highlights the potential for using 3D printing to
create footbeds customized for the needs of each wearer.
The shoe is penciled for release in March 2018, priced $400.
